Desktop Support Technician

• Perform the following tasks to configure Dell Workstations as follows:
  • Unbox and physically apply asset tag to the workstations
• Breakdown boxes and bring to a designated area
• Set up asset tag and host name in Basic Input/Output System ("BIOS")
• For each host, complete an inventory within Quest KACE appliance of the softwareinstalled on the current workstations
• Install via Quest KACE appliance and validate
  • Workstations standard image
  • Software from the inventory
  • Software patches
  • Data transfer of local files remotely from existing workstations to the newworkstations, as requested by Client
• Return data to the client personal computer ("PC") to a specific, well-definedlocation on every PC machine
• Adjustments based on any findings during user validation, as necessary
• Provide informal knowledge transfer throughout the Project.
• Provide weekly Project status updates to Management. Updates shall include:
  • Project schedule status
  • Overview of issues and risks with a required problem resolution plan

Associate's Degree in a technical field and two (2) or more years in relevant professional work experience, and experience leading projects with multiple people and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
