Cordova Police Department is Hiring a Police Officer Near Cordova, AL
The City of Cordova is looking to hire one (1) full-time police officer. APOSTC Certification is required for this position. Benefits include: 100% paid family or 100% paid single health insurance, dental insurance, a take home vehicle program, 13 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid vacation time, RSA Tier 1 retirement, hazardous duty pay, and a bi-annual uniform allowance. The shift structure of the department is a 12 hour format, with every other weekend off. Candidates should be willing and able to work either night shift or day shift, as the needs of the department vary. Candidates will be required to pass a thorough background check, drug screening, and prior employment review.
