Assistant Program ManagerPosition Summary: Experience in assisting in the management and oversight of Higher Educational Facility programs including the following phases: pre-planning; planning; design procurement; design; permitting; constructability review; construction contract procurement; construction management; and closeout. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously within the program and can oversee and report upwardly across multiple hierarchical levels. Reporting and analyzing data and End-User needs for functional and cross-functional requirements. Ability to use analytical and evaluative techniques for project purposes. Consult with personnel of client organizational units and identifies specific needs and requirements. The Assistant Program Manager will help oversee multiple Education projects within the campus in various phases of the project life cycle in addition to assisting in the development of functional manuals to establish policies & procedures that align with university policies. Capable of making critical and independent decisions at the appropriate level without much oversight from Program Manager. Implements scenario-based thinking, cost-benefit analysis, and feasibility studies. Uses business standards for planning, design, and development to maintain reporting systems across the sector. Uses discretion and judgment when dealing with sensitive or highly sensitive situations.

Ability to manage deliverables at all levels of the business structure from entry level to executive level management via great communication skills. Exemplary analytical cost management/cost control expertise including financial modeling, utilization of cost & scheduling tools, Excel, and MS Office. Some schematic design AutoCAD experience a plus.
Education:B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent years of experience may be substituted for education with client approval.Location:Vallejo, CA (must be local to the bay area)Salary Range:$135k to $145k per year
