Position Summary - this role caters to a candidate who wants to build the foundation for a career in sales. This role is a feeder to any open Outside Sales (District Manager) vacancies. Note: This is a 24 month contract position. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Associate is responsible for supporting the District Manager in meeting sales targets against the business fundamentals within a geographical territory of customers. This customer facing role requires regular and frequent customer interaction, and in order to be successful the Sales Associate must be well organized, self-motivated and possess a strong will to win. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities The primary focus of this role will be to service all Tier 1 and tier 2 chain accounts Under guidance of Sales Manager, supports a regular call cycle and service of Tier 1 & Tier 2 chain accounts Work with the Sales Manager in territory to support their needs in highest volume accounts Work with Sales Manager in delivering monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in chain accounts for territory in order to support Corby’s overall business goals Apply promotions to Corby product portfolio as approved by customer’s head office. Promotional items consist of but are not limited to: 50ml value-add, neck tags, non-liquid value-add items, gift box or bags, and rebate coupons. Report inventory issues to Key account Manager promptly or where possible handle the situation themselves so that it can be addressed with store staff In collaboration with Sales t Manager & the key account manager, the Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring that monthly and quarterly sales objectives are developed, assist in loading into Corby’s CRM and that the appropriate progress/tracking mechanisms are in place in key account chains.
