Corbins Electric is Hiring a People Experience Manager (HR) Near Phoenix, AZ

 The People Experience Manager will be a collaborative teammate who is passionate about building a best-in-class employee experience across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be driven to protect and continually uphold the culture of the PRIDE while constantly striving to improve upon it.

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, implement, and manage various employee engagement activities
  • Design, launch, and manage feedback platforms such as pulse engagement surveys, stay interviews, and exit interviews
  • Work closely with the People Operations Manager to ensure a seamless employee experience from day 1 to retirement
  • Provide guidance to leaders on employee relations and development
  • Collaborate with People Development to ensure the most effective leadership, development, and feedback platforms are being created and utilized
  • Manage and help drive completion of Individual Develop Plans (IDPs) and 1-on-1s by reporting to senior leadership and assisting with coaching as needed
  • Manage the Wellness Coordinator and oversee the direction of the wellness and culture centers
  • Provide people-related reporting to leadership
  • Provide backup for the People Operations side as needed

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of progressive HR experience; specifically experience with employee relations and culture development
  • Experience in construction preferred, but not mandatory
  • At least 2 years of managing others or leading teams
  • Strong understanding of employment law as well as federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Experience supporting a strong company culture through programs and events
  • A proven track record of both designing and implementing effective processes
  • Ability to operate beyond tactical decision making and apply judgement to ambiguous or sensitive situations
  • Able to build advisory relationships with senior leaders

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certifications preferred
