 The graphic designer will use their skills to create compelling, high-quality content to ensure the final product is on brand. This driven and imaginative individual serves as a key advisor in driving the look, feel and execution of our branded materials to accurately depict the innovative approach NXG has on the construction industry along with showcasing our unique company culture to recruit highly skilled lions to join the PRIDE. The ideal candidate for this role will be well-versed in design, have the ability to enhance existing material and create new assets to set our brands apart. The graphic designer will work alongside the creative team to push our brand and deliver fresh visual content for all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Design Lead & VP of Marketing with the execution of marketing activities and brand campaign initiatives through support graphics
  • Offer creative input on marketing campaigns and find methods to visualize the ideas and concepts discussed
  • Help identify improvements for processes and content- to optimize efficiency and creativity
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing materials created to improve our quality of work going forward
  • Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team
  • Stay in the loop with industry-related news and awards, client-related news, as well as trending topics
  • Contribute to an on-going flow of evergreen assets for the companies
  • Collaborate on design and marketing projects from ideation to execution
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate, facilitate, and ensure completion of marketing deliverables

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop as well as experience with executing high quality design concepts
  • Talented with words and have an eye for design -- ability to write and create unique, engaging content by visually telling a story from script writing to storyboarding
  • Have a strong understanding of marketing landscape and have a true interest in staying on top of new trends, techniques, and best practices
  • Abiliity to exercise creativity: someone who can constantly generate/source ideas and can tap into resourcefulness
  • Self-motivated and can manage multiple projects, ensuring things are done effectively, well organized and on time under tight deadline in a detail-oriented environment
  • Have effective verbal and written communication with an emphasis on quality and accuracy
  • Actively share work in-progress and embraces the team’s feedback
  • Be a team player: you are a positive contributor in the creative process and can work closely with others to execute the marketing teams’ objectives
  • Have a growth mindset - you’re always looking to improve, grow, and educate yourself, whether it’s your marketing skills or personal goals
  • Can maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies
  • Have an advanced skillset for using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Programs

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required. Equivalent, at least three (3-5) years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
