As the Design Lead you will create compelling, high-quality content to ensure that the final product is on brand. This driven and imaginative individual serves as a key advisor in driving the look, feel and execution of our branded assets to accurately depict the innovative approach NXG has on the construction industry along with showcasing our unique company culture to recruit highly skilled lions to join the PRIDE. The Design Lead will work alongside the creative team to push our brand and deliver fresh visual content for all channels.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Multimedia Manger & VP of Marketing with the execution of marketing activities and brand campaign initiatives through support graphics.
• Offer creative input on marketing campaigns and find methods to visualize the ideas and concepts discussed.
• Actively teach and mentor marketing team members new graphic skills and provide constructive feedback to ensure we are maintaining brand standards.
• Help identify improvements for processes and content- to optimize efficiency and creativity.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing materials created to improve our quality of work going forward.
• Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team.
• Stay in the loop with industry-related news and awards, client-related news, as well as trending topics
• Contribute to an on-going flow of evergreen assets for the companies.
• Collaborate on design and marketing projects from ideation to execution.
• Work cross-functionally to coordinate, facilitate, and ensure completion of marketing deliverables.
• Review, proof and edit content with a critical eye
• Manages and plans effective design projects by taking the lead to prepare visual content. This includes project tracking, planning documents for review, input, implementation, and assessment with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify new ideas and strategies to drive business objectives.

• You have a strong understanding of the marketing landscape and have a true interest in staying on top of new trends, techniques, and best practices.

• You are self-motivated and can manage multiple projects, ensuring things are done effectively, well organized and on time under tight deadline in a detail-oriented environment.
• You are an effective verbal and written communicator with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.
• You actively share work in-progress and embraces the team’s feedback.

• You have an advanced skillset for using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Programs

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required. Equivalent, at least five years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
