Corbin Electrical Services is Hiring an Installer Technician Near Marlboro, NJ

Corbin Electrical Services Inc. is looking an Installer to be a member of a crew to support the install and service of residential home standby generators.

Key duties include:

  • Apply technical skills and knowledge to maintain, troubleshoot and repair standby generators and transfer switches.
  • Perform panel and service upgrades.
  • Install, diagnose and/or repair Automatic Transfer Switches.
  • Perform generator start-ups and customer orientations.
  • Accurately complete all reporting and paperwork required to perform the task.

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in generator, electrical, gas or small engine installation, service, repair or equivalent.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to warm depending upon the season.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Marlboro, NJ 07746: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
