Job Title: Junior Account/Relationship Manager

Location: Fairfield, New Jersey (travel to New York City and outside the area required)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Account/Relationship Manager to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. The individual will be responsible for understanding project management practices and IT infrastructure technology, including copper and fiber cabling, physical security, wireless access, and audio-visual products. They will also be responsible for estimating materials, equipment, and installation requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer communication skills, both verbal and written. They must have the ability to: work independently, collaboratively, and/or direct a technical team. The position requires at least two years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and Project stakeholders
• Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, estimating, and tracking job progress
• Understand IT infrastructure technology, including copper and fiber cabling, physical security, wireless access, and audio-visual products
• Estimate materials, equipment, and installation requirements
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects both on time and within budget
• Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Travel to New York City regularly and outside the area 25% of the time after 90 days of employment

Requirements:

• Technical degree or equivalent experience and certifications
• A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated project management skills and knowledge of project management practices
• A demonstrated understanding of IT infrastructure technology, including copper and fiber cabling, physical security, wireless access, and audio-visual products
• Excellent customer communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to: work independently, collaboratively, and/or direct a technical team when required
• Must be able to travel to New York City regularly and outside the area 25% of the time after 90 days of employment

• Own or have ready access to a vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000 - $80,000 per year (depending on experience) plus a discretionary bonus
