Applications are being accepted for the position of assistant/associate director of alumni engagement This position assists in the development of cohesive and compelling engagement opportunities as part of a comprehensive Alumni and College Advancement program. The assistant/associate director helps to plan and execute alumni events and programming and serves as the primary social media coordinator for the Alumni Office. This position also works with alumni volunteers as part of Homecoming and reunion programming and provides administrative support for general alumni engagement opportunities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. One or more years in marketing, event planning, sales, or public relations preferred.
Preferred Skills
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal. Strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of liberal arts education. Ability to communicate effectively, interact professionally in a variety of situations (in person and on the telephone). Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have a valid Iowa driver's license and be insurable to drive. Experience working in a college or university setting is preferred.
Work Location & Conditions
The position is expected to work in person on campus in Mount Vernon with the option to work remotely 1-2 days per week. The hiring pay range for the position is $17 - $21 per hour.
