POSITION OVERVIEW

Coppercraft Distillery is looking for a Packaging Assistant to be a part of our distillery team. Your work will effectively play a key role in the production and packaging of products for our customers. This position is full time, with an initial schedule of Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm with potential for some nights and weekends. This role will report to the Production Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proofing down all spirit brands to strict and precise package specifications;
• Maintaining spirits cellar to adequate and accurate volumes of product by pumping spirits out of totes and cooperage;
• Work with mobile can line and packaging team to conduct weekly canned cocktail mixing and packaging.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED or higher education;
• Previous experience in a production environment, with production and packaging of spirits a plus;
• Experience with tank CIP and force carbonation technique a plus;
• Reliable transportation to and from work;
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other production equipment;
• Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to learn.
