We are seeking to hire a versatile Event Hostess with a “can-do” attitude to help us to host events and enhance our brand-to-client experience. Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing client and guest relationships, and improving our organization’s growth through events that effectively communicate brand strategy and personality.

The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time management.

Duties:

• Welcome guests and clients to the venue
• Accommodate guest requests politely and professionally
• Coordinate with team members and lead Event Coordinator to ensure smooth flow of event
• Assist with planning and preparation of the venue including but not limited to moving chairs and tables, working the Audio/Visual system, bussing tables throughout the event, restocking paper products and emptying trash
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed upon opening and closing of the venue/event
• Company meetings with the Event Director and staff.
• Capturing pictures and short videos during the event to share with our Social Media team.
• Ability to operate a screen & projector, turn on computer, mini sound board, mini monitor and projector, mic and with possibility of troubleshooting.
• Helping clients unload or carry in items, if necessary.
• Must have great communication, problem solving, organizational and people skills.
• Maintain an approachable and professional demeanor at all times

Pay: Pay is based on the event that is worked. We have events which are 5-, 7- and 11-hour events. There are events almost every weekend, but we also have events on Sundays, weekdays, mornings and evenings.

Salary: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
