Position Description
Copper Mountain Community College District (CMCCD) is looking for a proven leader to help the development and growth of Copper Mountain College. The ideal candidate is an active, positive, and equity-minded leader with the desire, skills and knowledge to serve students, faculty and staff; has the ability to work in an environment of continuous change; can manage student interactions and situations with patience and compassion; and makes honest and ethical decisions. Positions may be tenured, tenure-track, and Categorically/Federally funded non-tenure track.

Qualifications
Standards are established in accordance with the Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges as adopted by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors for the discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Any master’s degree level discipline in which learning assistance or tutoring is provided at the college where the coordinator is employed;
OR
A master’s degree in education, educational psychology, or instructional psychology, or other master’s degree with emphasis in adult learning theory.
Demonstrated evidence of understanding and sensitivity in a diverse academic setting.

College transcripts from an accredited college or university if education is a requirement of the position (student copies are acceptable for application purposes but official transcripts will be required if hired).
