JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for Bartenders to join our Copper 29 bar staff and grow our beverage sales. Our ideal candidate has experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry. You need excellent communication skills to ensure our patrons have a positive experience and to promote sales of certain drinks or specials. You must be able to work nights and weekends to cater to our customer base. We are looking for an individual with customer service and on-the-job training experience.

The best bartenders work well in a team environment and are comfortable working long hours on their feet. As a SP Hospitality Group team member, we expect our employees to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a positive and friendly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality service to customers
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
• Mix and serve drinks following set standard recipes
• Greet guests in a timely manner
• Accurately and efficiently collect cash and credit card payments from customers
• Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
• Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety
• Assist with inventory and inventory control

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
• Must be 21 years of age
• Basic mathematical skills
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktails
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual with English and Spanish preferred
