Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

REMOTE with occasional visits to our Seattle and Tacoma offices. Must live within driving distance.

Pay: $ 22-$25, DOE

The Supplies Supervisor oversees the Supplies Team personnel and coordinates all aspects of the supply chain to ensure they are efficient and cost-effective. They will assist employees in day-to-day tasks and ensure policies are followed and standards are met. They must maintain positive relationships with current vendor partners and identify and develop relationships with new potential vendors. This role will work closely with the Sales, Dispatch, Warehouse, Order Processing, Remote Support, Accounting, Purchasing, and Leadership teams. 

Job Duties

• Provide mentoring and development to Supplies Team, conducting regular 1:1 and team meetings and coaching
• Review and develop Supplies policies and procedures to increase cost savings and efficiencies
• Handle escalated customer situations
• Frequent audits of Supplies Team orders and customer communications 
• Monitor current inventory and costs, processing inventory orders using historical and projected usage
• Maintain relationships with supply vendors, communicating frequently to determine product availability 
• Provide timely and accurate responses to inbound customer, vendor, and internal emails
• Manage supply backorders; monitor status, confirm fulfillment, adjusting pricing and freight as needed
• Ensure customer orders are processed and delivered on time
• Update inventory records, including adding, removing, or adjusting items and pricing
• Reconcile vendor invoices to Purchase Orders, updating freight, tracking, and ensuring accuracy of pricing
• Act as backup to primary offline and phone team during vacations

 Job Requirements

• 2-4 years of previous employment in Supervisory role; preferably to a team of customer-facing support such as customer service, call center, order entry, or retail
• 2-4 years of experience with Windows OS, strong Outlook and Excel skills required
• Experience with inventory and vendors preferred
• Ability to work a regular M-F 8-5 schedule, without tardiness or unexcused absences
• Excellent customer service, performance management and time management
• Proactive self-starter with focused ability to reinforce policies and processes without direct supervision
• Adaptable to a changing environment, including new duties and procedures
• Professional and positive attitude
• Common sense approach to problem-solving
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines
