POSITION/BUSINESS TITLE: IT Security Analyst (ITSA)

FULL-TIME, Exempt : 40 hours

Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) is seeking a talented IT Security Analyst (ITSA) to become an integral part of the IT operations team. The IT Security Analyst (ITSA) is responsible for configuring and maintaining tools for monitoring CCSI's information systems, creating implementation plans for security policies and remediation activities, and providing compliance reporting. The IT Security Analyst (ITSA) leverages innovative technology to solve problems and continuously improve the organization's security posture.

In your role as the IT Security Analyst (ITSA), you will be

• Managing and overseeing event monitoring, triage, and response capabilities. 
• Assisting in incident management including investigations and triage activities for security events and incidents.
• Analyzing post-incident event analysis and recommendations for security improvement processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Leveraging metrics to provide better-informed decisions to improve the capacity and IT functions of the organization. 
• Collaborating with contracted managed service providers to provide feedback to improve cybersecurity detection and alerting capabilities.
• Managing tools to promote IT risk awareness governance corporate-wide. 
• Contributing and participating in audits, vulnerability testing, and compliance review representing information technology functions in support of security, audit, and risk needs.
• Conducting other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (computer science, information technology or management information systems) plus 2-4 years’ IT security or information security experience, or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart) 
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security , CySA , or equivalents.

Additional Requirements\

• Experience performing security investigations across different platforms including OS, networks, cloud, messaging, etc.
• Experience working with various security tools including SIEM, EDR, AV, forensics, firewalls, cloud, etc.
• Experience working with cloud cybersecurity tools a major plus
