Cook’s Pest Control, Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager to support our Corporate office in Decatur, AL, on a Full-Time, Part-Time or Contract basis. Work location will be primarily remote but will require some in-person meetings as well.The IT Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage IT projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical functions of the enterprise to ensure the successful implementation of assigned projects. Responsible for managing all aspects of IT and software supplier performance through all phases of the project from Request for Proposal (RFP) and proposal evaluation through Project Execution including cost, schedule, technical, and risk management. Identify risks and mitigation strategies while ensuring project requirements are aligned to business and IT strategic objectives and operating practices.

Specific Duties Include:

• Manages assigned IT projects, including suppliers, to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
• Develops RFPs and evaluates proposals for assigned projects against defined project objectives including technical specifications, schedules, and funding.
• Establishes and tracks progress against project milestones; manages and mitigates schedule risks.
• Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status to stakeholders.
• Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports for executive staff.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated thorough understanding of project management principles and planning as well as information technology concepts, procedures, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated ability to manage technology supplier performance
• Understanding of software development approaches and methodologies
• Understanding of large-scale application rollout techniques to ensure successful integration and adoption across the enterprise
• Understanding of software development and operations cybersecurity principles, compliance requirements, risk management techniques, and resiliency approaches
• Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a wide range of general and specialized software and hardware used in the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• PMI Project Management Professional certifications preferred
• Security or CISSP certifications preferred
