Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports and reviews quality systems processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in investigating quality issues.• Monitor and maintenance of existing processes.• Assist in internal and external audits.• Assist in creating Quality System procedures/instructions.• Must be able to multi-task.• Data trending and reporting.• Assist in complaint investigation.• Responsible for Environmental Control activities

• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills.• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision. • Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.• Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills.• Must be able to multi-task• Responsible for compliance to company's Quality Policy Manual• Responsible for compliance to company's safety policies• Additional Quality Engineering tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3-5 years experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background• Knowledge of Cook Inc. quality systems, associated documentation and product lines preferred • Knowledge of medical device regulations, including pertinent standards and guidances

• Auditing Certification preferred• Micro/ Environmental background preferred • Computer literacy and proficiency (Word, excel, etc.)• Must pass a post-offer physical exam and drug test.

Physical Requirements:• General office environment• Sitting for extended periods• Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc.
