Converge HR Solutions is Hiring a Corporate Recruiter Near Fort Washington, PA

About the role

At our client, Nyman Associates, their people are our most important resource. They are currently seeking a highly skilled recruiter to help them find these people. He/She/They will source and interview candidates for our various open positions. The ideal candidate will be people-oriented and flexible, with knowledge of the various facets of the recruiting life cycle. If you have a passion for finding and identifying talent, being a key part of company growth, and helping individuals find promising careers, they want to hear from you. This position will be hybrid, but will likely start out in the office more days to get to know people and learn their way of doing things.

Critical parts of the job

  • Identify and attract candidates for open positions using online tools like their or our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), online job boards, social media platforms, and good old fashion networking.
  • Screen applicants and interview candidates for experience, skills, and cultural fit for our openings.
  • Articulate position details and our company needs to candidates interested in open opportunities.
  • Assist with scheduling and conduct interviews along with the Hiring Managers.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships with candidates during the recruiting process.

This position will be focused on:

  • Being a hunter: You will be working directly with the management team to fill open positions. Given today’s talent market, that will likely mean doing more than just posting positions. It will mean coming up with creative and innovative ways to find additional candidates for open roles.
  • Consulting with the Hiring Managers: You will become a recruiting partner and work with them to ensure that the managers have enough people to choose the right person for each role. You’ll also use your experience to help managers with understanding the recruiting process, providing them with information and insights into the screened candidates and how they might fit the roles the managers have open.
  • Being a tour guide and storyteller: You will be the storyteller for the company and be our brand ambassador. You will also be coordinating interviews between candidates and managers, occasionally keeping the process moving by the sheer force of your will.

  • A self-motivated strategic thinker and doer with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • A curious and inquisitive interviewer able to understand and determine if someone is a fit for an open opportunity and to our team and company culture.
  • Relentless attention to detail.
  • A thoughtful and talented communicator willing to work with people through the sometimes confusing and chaotic recruiting process.
  • Ability to juggle a few competing priorities and be flexible to changing priorities and demands on your time.

Key Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in recruiting. A mix of agency and corporate experience is ideal, but experience in either is good. Exceptional people with a mix of internships or related experience will also be considered.
  • A foundation in sourcing and recruiting for people for a variety of positions and a working knowledge of recruiting through social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred, but not necessary.

The Nice to Haves

  • A high level of computer proficiency and a working knowledge of one of more Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) as well as Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • A genuine desire to learn, grow, make mistakes, and challenge the status quo in how we recruit and hire people.
