Continental Resources, Inc. is Hiring a Facilities Engineer Near Oklahoma City, OK

Job Summary Provide engineering support to execute the scope, technical evaluation, preliminary economic analysis, construction, and commissioning of small to large scale projects, including but not limited to, central tank batteries, facility automation, SWD facilities, produced water gathering systems, gas gathering systems, oil gathering systems, EOR projects, and crude oil tank farms. This is a full time position based in Oklahoma City with some domestic field travel (25 - 35%) as needed. Performs a range of straightforward assignments. Acts as a resource for team members with less experience. Established knowledge of fundamental theories, principles and practices in the area of specialization. Exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to solve problems of moderate complexity; seeks assistance in resolving more complex issues. Works under a moderate level of supervision. Duties and Responsibilities Plan, budget, and schedule facility-related construction activity to meet the requirements of the development program Project management of planning, procurement, design, and construction-related activities for production, disposal, and pipeline facilities, such as central tank batteries (CTBs), salt water disposal (SWD) facilities, and gathering pipeline systems Process engineering design for production, disposal, and pipeline facilities Engineering design of piping systems and equipment, including but not limited to tanks, pumps, compressors, separators, fired vessels, relief valves, control valves, and instrumentation systems Generate and/or review engineering documents such as PFDs, P&IDs, Site and Equipment Layouts, Isometric Drawings, Operational Control Philosophies, Material Specs, BOMs, and Piping Plans Select, specify, and prepare datasheets and recommendations for new facilities equipment Collaborate in a team environment to develop assets in the most cost effective manner Ensure compliance with government requirements and Company policies Ensure construction compliance and consistency with CLR design and construction documents Planning and management for safe project execution during construction and commissioning Prepare operating guidelines for facility operations Design and implement facility plans and procedures Develop cost estimates and prepare AFEs for facility projects Review all expenditures for facilities within a specified area Troubleshoot existing processes and propose optimizations/improvements Modify existing equipment for safe and improved operations Personal commitment to inclusion and diversity Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from accredited college or University At least 3 years of experience in design of onshore oil, gas, and water production and/or processing/treatment facilities Proficiency in hydraulic analysis, equipment sizing/design, and process design. An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity is sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
