Job Summary Provides advanced technical support to engineers. Performs routine and complex activities involving data acquisition, storage, report generation, analytics and information processing. Performs a wide variety of tasks; contributes to process improvements. Acts as a resource for team members with less experience. Thorough working knowledge of technical/specialized tasks and responsibilities. Relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine best approach to achieve desired outcomes. Works under general supervision. Duties and Responsibilities Accumulate and effectively organize data from multiple sources Develops, implements, and maintains standardized technical and engineering staff processes Confirm accuracy of data, take appropriate action on any changes, and communicate required corrections to the necessary parties. Automate regulatory permits and sundries, cost breakdowns, data pulls, reporting, siteview and content server entries, and other misc. process Confirm accuracy of well and production data, take appropriate action on any changes, and communicate required corrections to the necessary parties. Create and maintain custom database and spreadsheets of technical data as required by group Compile, assemble and distribute reports Mentor, coach, develop other members of the team Responsible for loading/entering, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data. Initiates and develops more accurate and reliable data analyses and reporting methodologies. Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at one time Ability to work and deliver on short timelines Close attention to detail Monitors new technologies and draws upon expertise to make recommendations for further exploitation of existing technologies. Provides user support for software systems to other technical support and professional personnel, including installation and maintenance of software and troubleshooting user problems. Lead special projects within the department as needed Personal commitment to inclusion and diversity Other duties as assigned. Desire to improve and streamline tools used widely by the company Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks at one time Ability to work and deliver on short time lines Close attention to detail Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams Excellent organizational skills Experience with GIS, FME, UIPath or other process automation Advanced proficiency in: Spotfire/PowerBI, Database management Knowledge of R script, Python, and SQL programing languages desired Required Qualifications Associate's degree or other technical training Minimum of five (5) years of closely related industry experience An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Math, Computer Science or related Science preferred OERB Petro Tech Certification or similar preferred A combination of experience and education will be considered Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
