Our client has an immediate need for an Application Support Engineer II
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc
- AWS Practitioner certification of higher
- 3-5 years of experience supporting ION’s Wall Street Systems infrastructure in a Red Hat Linux or Windows environment
- Ability to install and patch Wall Street components including desktop clients and diagnose infrastructure-related issues with ION’s Wall Street Systems using PROIV 4GL is required.
- Experience across multiple infrastructure domains including RHEL, Windows, Oracle DBMS, TCP/IP networking, Windows Active Directory, IBM MQ, WebSphere, virtualized desktops (Citrix), and authentication platforms such as Oracle Access Manager
- 1-3 years experience migrating applications to and supporting applications on AWS or other public cloud infrastructures
- Ability to operate in an agile environment and proficiency with Confluence, JIRA
- Experience with Commercial Global markets FX trading, derivatives products, and the underlying business processes across the entire FX trading lifecycle
- Experience with global markets FX trading, specifically the functions related to the entire FX trading lifecycle
- Experience with disaster recovery, resiliency, and automated testing tools
- Experience with collecting requirements, creating software designs, and developing efficient implementations
- Experience with Bash and Linux
- Experience with full-stack development
- Experience with CICD pipeline (CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent)
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect
- Experience with data structure concepts such as linked lists, dictionaries, arrays, custom object creation, etc.
