Construction Worldwide is Hiring a Human Resources Administrator – Construction Company, San Francisco, CA Near San Francisco, CA

The Human Resources Administrator performs the administrative functions within Human Resources, including facilitation of Human Resources initiatives, projects and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with recruiting, career fairs, and coordination of candidate interview process. Maintain applicant tracking system, careers page and job postings.
  • Assist with new hire orientation, including welcome messages, equipment requests, collection of new hire paperwork and coordination of onboarding with key stakeholders.
  • Support HR Manager with immigration life cycle for individual employees, including temporary and permanent work permits, in consultation with legal counsel.
  • Participate in employee engagement committees, employee recognition and company wellness programs.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment of employee benefits.
  • Update employee data in HR information systems and implement process improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain and update electronic personnel and benefits files in compliance with personnel policy and Form I-9 regulations.
  • Support employees and managers in the interpretation of company policies.
  • Review invoices and process payments for HR-related items.
  • Respond to requests for verification of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred, and will cause the ideal candidate to stand out.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks are essential to perform effectively in this position.
  • The individual should be a self-starter, and have the ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish.
  • A high level of trustworthiness is essential, as the HR Administrator will handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Working understanding of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Practical proficiency in business software such as HR Systems, Windows OS, and MS Office Suite.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Two to three years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or employee benefits is preferred.
