Our Service Specialists are enthusiastic, thoughtful, and highly motivated problem solvers who are driven to improve the member experience and build strong relationships within our community. They are trusted resources for our members.

As a member of our team, you’ll be here to serve our members, whether that’s on the phone, via email, or in person. You’ll get to know our industry, products, and services (electric, telecommunications, natural gas, and propane) and you will become an expert at advising our members. In this role, you’ll be an advocate working to find resolutions for our members.

As a Service Specialist, no two days are exactly alike. You'll spend time interacting with people every day, and you'll be working in a collaborative and supportive environment as you work to assist our members, the community, and your coworkers.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of customer service experience including promotional offerings, products, and billing required. 
• Capable of making full use of available tools and technologies.
• Effective communication, organization, planning, and detail orientation skills
• Accuracy, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and confidentiality are required.
• Aptitude to fulfill all the competencies for the position (Attention to Detail / Critical Evaluation / Diplomacy / Industry Principles & Concepts / Information & Records Administration / Job Knowledge / Sales & Marketing / Service Deliver / Standards & Practices / Technical Credibility).
• The ability to work from either the Mount Gilead or Delaware, OH offices as needed.
