Our vehicle repair shop has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Helper. Under the direction of our senior mechanics, you will assist with Fleet maintenance jobs, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tune-ups, as well as provide support during more complicated repairs. You must be familiar with the general workings of a vehicle engine (school bus preferred) . Our ideal candidate has some experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles, but we are willing to train the right person.

• Conduct basic maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles

• Assist mechanics in major projects

• Log inventory use and labor costs

• Keep the area clean and safe

Requirements and Qualifications

Completion of an auto repair program (plus)

Experience with hand and power tools

Familiarity with both gasoline and diesel equipment
