About Sobol

Sobol is building the DAO operations hub for the Future of Work. Thousands of community members across hundreds of DAOs use Sobol to visualize and promote the work of their DAOs. We’re growing Team Sobol to further our vision of integrating the best Web3 protocols in the ecosystem.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Designer to help us create the future of the Sobol experience.

You’ll join our remote team and be surrounded by passionate people who are excited by the potential of DAOs to shape how humans coordinate on a global scale.

You’ll work with engineering and product colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities. We are a remote first team, and have been since our inception.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record, demonstrable through their portfolio, in translating design objectives into static and dynamic design elements. Expertise with prototyping tools and comfort with front-end engineering is a must – you don’t need to be a coder, but an understanding of front-end coding and the ability to create pixel-perfect presentation layers is a must.

We’re a collaborative team, and you’d be a great fit if you enjoy healthy debate and high standards. We are pragmatists who have high standards for ourselves and others.

Required Skills

• Product/user experience design and a portfolio that demonstrates your work and thought processes
• Experience with prototyping. We use Figma, but other tools can be transferable
• UI design experience
• Understanding of HTML, CSS javascript
• Comfort collaborating with technical/engineering teams throughout the design process and all aspects of development.
• Strong communication skills; the ability to clearly explain your design choices, and use data to influence your team

Nice to Have

• Experience participating in a DAO 
• Blockchain experience
• Experience in data visualization
• Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience working in remote or globally distributed teams

Salary & Benefits

Your base salary within our estimated pay range will depend on job-related factors that may include location, travel, relevant prior experience, or subject matter expertise. This information is based on our good faith estimate as of the date of publication, and may be modified in the future. Mesh has a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, and is a remote-first workplace. The estimated pay range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 (USD).
