Position Summary
This primary role of is focused on facilitation of Connors Group technical and professional development courses. This role will be responsible for all activities related to the preparation, training program/course delivery and follow up for internal and external customers.
Secondary responsibility for assisting in the effective analysis, design, and development of educational and training programs utilizing modalities such as instructor-led, self-guided, on-the-job, eLearning, web-based content that drives measurable performance improvement. Collaborates with key internal and external business partners to clarify job performance needs and create learning and development solutions.
Works with clients to develop training materials and process/procedure documentation (instructional process flows, SOP development and technical writing).
Duties and responsibilities

• Facilitates assigned internal and external Instructor Led Training courses as assigned
• Collaborates on content, design, and delivery with SMEs, project managers, and clients to produce sound instructional materials in accordance with solid instructional design principles that meet or exceed identified business goals
• Partners with internal staff to identify and develop required content to ensure training deliverables are met for external customers
• Prepares educational material (design manuals, workbooks) and orders materials for internal and external clients
• Assists client training department or internal training team with pilot and program evaluation, this includes implementation, oversight and monitoring, editing and improvement of training content
• Assists in analyzing internal and external customer needs, and/or instructional goals and objectives to determine appropriate methods of instructional design for both instructor-led and eLearning programs
• Collaborates on the design and development of learning and performance support materials for a variety of instructional modalities (instructor-led, self-guided, on-the-job, eLearning, web-based content)
• Familiar with an approved instructional methodology (ex. ADDIE, Sam) for the development of course curriculum
• Technical writing duties as assigned
• Organizes and translates information into clear written documentation
• Assists in the development and implementation of eLearning solutions, including administration of content distribution system (ex. SCORM) or LMS (internal)
• Exhibits a willingness and ability to handle multiple assignments under strict time constraints

Qualifications

• 1 or more years facilitating training sessions for clients and internal staff
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Instructional Design, Education, Broadcast Communications, or related field required

• Learning Management System administration (previous implementation experience a plus)

• Not required, but desired:
• Master’s Degree Instructional Design, Education, or related field
