What are the responsibilities and job description for the Subscription Operations Associate position at Connection?
The Subscription Operations Associate role assists with daily administrative and variable payment tasks of the Subscription Operations Team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily administrative tasks such as generating and maintaining reports, team logs, and adding contract dates within the ERP system.
- Respond to first-level sales requests through Connection's call-tracking tool.
- Assist with meeting vendor program and company audit compliance in order to limit liability to both the customer and Connection in terms of revenue loss, inability to sell vendor programs and associated fines.
- Assist with the subscription billing activities for the customer-vendor contracts/agreements and program rules for an assigned business segment.
- Review vendor contracts, reports, and invoices to manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and billings for vendors who offer variable payment options.
- Ensure internal controls are followed by validating customer eligibility to vendor program and recurring payment requirements for compliance purposes.
- Interact with Sales, Sales Operations, Licensing Operations, Cloud Team, Purchasing, Volume Licensing Teams, Legal team, suppliers, and Finance management teams to ensure efficient recurring billings and subscriptions operations within the organization.
Required Competencies:
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create formulas, tables, and charts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook with the ability to formulate and send professional emails.
- Detail-oriented with item-by-item focus, maticulous attention to detail with the ability to proofread for accuracy.
- Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems, or ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of databases in order to audit and update information.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of sales or product procurement operations with the ability to follow and improve proceses within a vendor segment while maintaining set controls.
- Attention to detial in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.63 - $25.00 per hour
