Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT PM Manager. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a top-notch end client in the healthcare industry. This position offers excellent benefits with opportunity to mentor a team.

The IT Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading IT initiatives throughout the organization. This includes but is not limited to: Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs, creating strategies for upgrading existing software & hardware, implementing failsafe strategies to maintain network availability, working closely with other departments and vendors to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the organizations network

Summary of essential job functions:

• User device provisioning, maintenance and footprint design
• Research tech integrations within the clinical environment and advise on connectivity best practices
• Monitor & evaluate current hardware/software for optimal functionality
• Project management of existing business applications and software, including the design and deployment of new systems and services
• Collaborate on future IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both in person and remotely, Coordinate strategy for global IT help desk with department leaders
• Collaborate with other departments to meet deliverables with the understanding that patients come first

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field / equivalent experience
• Experience identifying & building IT infrastructure from the ground up
• 7 years of experience working in Healthcare IT operations
• Great communicator, including writing, speech, and active listening
• Project Management experience
• IT experience
