Connection, Inc. is Hiring a Data Modeler (FT) Near Nashville, TN

Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Data Modeler in Dallas, TX. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for a growing end-client in the venture capital and private equity industry. This position is remote, and the end client has great growth opportunities.
Job Duties:
  • Develop database models and support documentation to meet business requirements for reporting and analytic databases.
  • Analyze data sources and requirements and business rules.
  • Perform logical and physical data modeling.
  • Write prototypes to prove data transforms.
  • Write specifications for development, then implement and test database design.
  • Coordinate data models across marts and warehouses.
  • Manage dictionaries and other documentation across multiple datamarts and warehouses
We Value:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, and or higher qualification with focus in analytics
  • 8 years hand-on experience in data modeling, data warehouse design/administration; and impact analysis of data structure changes
  • 8 years’ experience working in a data warehouse and analytics project; Attention to detail
  • 5 years of logical and physical data modeling in an operational system development environment.
  • 5 years of logical and physical modeling utilizing a major data modeling tool (ERWIN, ERStudio, SQLDBM etc.)
  • 2 years of experience working in a cloud database environment is preferred (AWS, Snowflake, Azure)
  • 3 years of experience working with healthcare data
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
