We are searching for a Sr. Systems Administrator; the individual will be responsible for providing reliable, effective, and efficient Infrastructure services. This role engages in Infrastructure and Security projects that optimize current services and works on building the next generation of infrastructure for the business. The Sr. Systems Administrator will also actively manage server patches, server software distribution, resolve problems and issues with computer and server systems to limit work disruptions within the company and provide a Top-Tier experience to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing the roadmap of infrastructure and security projects while aligning with business goals
• Performs systems analysis tasks as required for implementing modifications or additions to the servers or business software applications while documenting change control changes in enterprise systems
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining server policies and procedures while performing server management, including maintenance of server component inventory and documentation
• Maintains the business servers' integrity, availability, reliability and effectiveness by monitoring, analyzing and making appropriate adjustments to the servers' components and their use
• Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, helpdesk management software, and/or internal staff, via internal messaging system, voicemail, e-mail, or in-person communication
• Provides 3rdlevel Help Desk support in resolving technology problems for internal members while ensuring an accurate and timely response for problem resolution
• Establishes and maintains virtualized server environments including management of production, preproduction, testing, development, and disaster recovery environment; Optimizes and tunes virtual server environment
• Manages Exchange and all Cloud Computing environments
• Evaluates, schedules, installs, and maintains all software patches on all impacted systems as outlined in the patch management procedure
• Maintains internal business units’ disaster recovery site and performs ongoing verification testing
• Conducts network threat and vulnerability assessments and ensures operational network security; Manages the Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention System and corporate antivirus program, including log monitoring, corrective action, software patch management, notification of threat events, and forensic examination of identified threats and penetrations
• Conducts reviews and updates of standard operating procedures, disaster recovery procedures and all department documentation under the direction of the IT Operations manager
• Carries and responds timely to texts or calls for server issues
• Maintains current knowledge of technology industry trends and direction and provides input to department staff on process improvements
• Conducts appropriate research, analysis and implementation of enhancements to the business infrastructure and provides recommendations for new opportunities to improve service through technology
• Day to day system administration.
• Collaborate with developers in overcoming problems, integrating software into website architecture
• Build automated processes to create and deploy releases to QA and Production environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Expert level knowledge of Windows Server 2016 , IIS, DNS and DHCP
• Demonstrated senior level skill with virtualization technologies and hypervisors
• Ability to create complex custom scripts and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
• Ability to architect AD for an enterprise environment to include designing global and group policies, designating organization units (OUs), and delegating authority within the environment
• Ability to manage current Enterprise Storage Area Networks (SANs), Network File System (NFS), and fiber channel technologies
• Ability to internetwork external entities into corporate environment
• Ability to lead projects and team members in implementation efforts of information technology (IT) related projects
