Connect Staffing is Hiring a Purchasing Assistant Near Lewisville, TX
Connect staffing is looking for an experience purchasing agent to join a leading Shutters and blinds manufacturing company in the Lewisville and Dallas area.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Purchasing agent requirements:
- Ability to multi-task
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience as a procurement specialist, buyer, and procurement associate is a plus!
- Pass a background and a drug screen

Purchasing agent responsibilities:
- Report directly to Purchasing Manager
- Support Purchasing team to complete daily assignment
- Create purchase orders to vendors
- Make purchases and ensure that orders received are accurate and are not damaged
- Submit payment requests
- Update & maintain inventory spreadsheets
- Contact vendors to obtain quotes
- Reconcile credit card transactions
- Assist with procurement for multiple locations
