In search of a full-time Quality Control Technician. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the quality control field and must know about PPAP preparation and creating the documentation, FMEA, Flow charts, know-how to perform quality tests on painted parts and can learn how to create documentation for testing, how to prep and train our team on ISO: 9001, and be able to lead the quality inspection team through inspections of parts. We will train the right candidate to understand our current process flows and the standards of quality required by our customers currently in place at CCP.
Some duties will include, but are not limited to: Following APQP requirements put forth by our customers and PPAP processes, knowing how to perform quality tests which include color, gloss, and thickness checks, creating and maintaining quality documentation, being able to communicate with our customer's QA teams, our painters and the management team, being able to lead our inspection team, create better inspection flows, and have a knowledge of reading gauges (gloss meter, color spectrometer, thickness gauge, etc.). Experience in quality is required. A knowledge of how to use supplier portals is a plus! When it is needed, there will be, at times some general labor duties to help out with. The pay rate is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour to start. That rate will be determined by the amount of experience the candidate has. Performance reviews can/will produce increases. Show us you know what you are doing and we'll reciprocate with compensation.
We have only one shift and our average work week is Monday through Thursday from 4:15am till 3:45pm which includes a half hour, unpaid lunch and three fifteen minute breaks every two hours except at lunch time. Fridays are added as needed with overtime pay. We offer paid vacation after the first year and health benefits after 90 days.
