What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager (Program Specialist) position at Confidential?
The Program Manager is a key position within the company and is responsible for the complete functioning of the residential homes, including but not limited to: health, safety and wellbeing of the individuals we support, staff support and development, and program/site maintenance. The Program Manager must ensure that the company’s mission is carried throughout the homes and that the supports provided to each of the individuals meets the needs and desires of their everyday lives as well as regulations set forth by the state and agency. This position oversees the daily operations of 6 homes in Reading, PA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Understand/implement and ensure all compliance with state, county and federal rules and regulations under which the company is licensed.
- Available on an on call basis as needed and able to jump in and work direct care as needed
- Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork
- Attend ISP meetings
- Complete monthly reports, approve staff time in Kronos, ensure adequate food and supplies in homes at all times
- Complete financial reconciliation
- Provide training, mentoring, coaching and positive supervision to staff on an on-going basis
- Responsible for the hiring and onboarding of new staff
- Maintain house budget and schedule hours budget
- Work with the Director and Residential Supervisors to complete spending plans, annual assessments, financial assessments, etc.
- Conduct regular home inspections and complete routine vehicle maintenance
- Meet with individuals' support coordinators as needed
- Communicate/collaborate with day programs, communicate with families
- Conduct staff meetings
Qualifications
- A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or,
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or,
An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability or,
A high school diploma or general education development certificate and 6 years work experience working directly with persons with an intellectual disability.
- Previous training on positive approaches, supervision and leadership techniques preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
