Confidential is Hiring a BCBA Supervisor Case Manager Near Newport, CA

We are looking for a part time BCBA Supervisor Case Manager to provide content, create and deliver training, manage staff and supervise therapists’ progress for an exclusive at-school and in-home program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and train staff on program plan, ensure proper implementation of program plan and goals.
  • Plan and implement academic and recreational activities.
  • Attend various offsite activities, projects, and functions.
  • Monitor and report on progress of benchmark and annual goals.
  • Manage staff scheduling and arrange for adequate coverage at all time.
  • Manage weekly staff meetings.
  • Provide direct 1:1 care utilizing ABA principles at school and in community settings.
  • Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures.
  • Providing physical and behavioral enrichment for children.
  • Develop, implement and monitor benchmark and goals (including academic, communication, vocational, leisure, social, self-help, and life skills).
  • Effectively communicate progress and updates to supervisor on a weekly basis.
  • Interface with other disciplines.
  • Other behavior management related activities from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory role at a professional clinic, including curriculum and staff management and scheduling.
  • BCBA, BCBA trainee.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children with moderate special needs using ABA techniques.
  • Desire to work with adolescents and the ability to be patient.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, ethical, and resourceful.
  • Flexible to take on additional hours if needed.
  • Ability to travel.

Basic and Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting in a chair and on the floor, standing) for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing and able to utilize quick body movements while working with children with challenging behaviors to ensure safety.

Compensation:

  • Starting from $47 per hour with the potential to increase every 6 months based upon performance.

Schedule:

  • 20-25 hours per week. Typically, 8:30am to 2pm.
