Responsibilities:
- Organizes and directs the work of staff in the storage, preparation and serving of patient meals
- Responsible that quality and service meets the highest standards
- Ensures that cleanliness and safety meets the highest standards
- Adheres to all policies and procedures
- Builds relationships with patients and staff to improve customer satisfaction
- Implements standards for performance improvement
- Targests areas for improvement and quality assurance of patient tray operations
- Oversees staff, training and Human Resource functions
Requirements:
- At least 3 years food service management experience in a hospital setting
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to supervise and train staff
- College degree preferred with ability to multitask and prioritze work assignments
- Understanding of nutrition and advanced understanding food preparation and cooking methods
- Computerized diet office systems experience preferred
- Lead and train staff in guest services
