Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Sales Support Speaclist to join the Account Management team in our Kansas City office. The Sales Support role is to assist Sales and Account Management in selling into and supporting new and existing clients. oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business from existing clients. He or she will work directly with appropriate channel partners (Senior team members) to maximize revenue opportunities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CRM software.
• Maintain and expand the company’s database of customers and prospects.
• Answer all customer email inquiries promptly to resolve any complaint or issue while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Support sales staff by completing and processing orders and keeping senior staff informed of any issues with delivery
• Establish active communication and engagement with all other departments to help out where necessary
• Collaborate effectively with the sales team by creating and issuing sales tracking documentation upon request
• Work with Existing Clients as needed and as directed by Account Management
• Attend meetings and ensure action items are noted and accomplished

Requirements

Qualifications for role:

• Demonstrated ability to assist sales teams with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice
• Be strongly skilled in data entry and customer service including basic math and reporting skills
• Attention to detail is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge
• High degree of professionalism
• Good time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity, work ethic and accountability.
• BA/BS degree
• Working with existing clients through contract renewals

Physical Requirements

Normal office conditions, some irregular hours may be required. Majority of time spent on the computer and phone.
