Conexon is Hiring a Learning & Development Specialist Near Kansas City, MO

Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity? Want to put your training experience to use by joining our 5 Star team at Conexon? Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with rural electric cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the premise networks nationwide.

We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to take the role of Learning & Development Specialist. A successful candidate should possess a strong work ethic, natural curiosity, and a 5 Star attitude. This role will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating all training for the Call Center. They will also assist in identifying training needs and developing training material.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  1. Identify training strategies and methods
  2. Assist in developing and updating training material
  3. Identify training needs
  4. Work with other groups outside the Call Center to assist with training
  5. Train all new hires on Conexon products and services
  6. Assist with remedial training
  7. Maintain training reports
  8. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skill & Experience:

  1. Strong training skills
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills
  3. 3-5 years recent experience in a training environment required
  4. Classroom training experience required
  5. Problem solving skills
  6. Patience, compassion and empathy
  7. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid drivers license, proof of insurance required
  8. Time management skills
  9. Readiness to learn
  10. Experience is developing training material

Physical/Mental Ability:

  1. Ability to assimilate information drawing reasonable conclusions
  2. Sound Judgment
  3. Ability to adapt to change
  4. Ability to multi-task
  5. Flexible availability including holidays and weekends as needed
