Condux International is Hiring an Inside Sales Representative Near Mankato, MN

Description

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads (thru existing distribution customers) communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Be able to close sales and meet targets. The Inside Sales Representative needs to build rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties: 

  1. Communicating with distributors, making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on leads. 
  2. Understanding distribution / customer, needs and identifying sales opportunities 
  3. Answering potential customers questions and sending additional information per email 
  4. Keeping up with product and service information and updates 
  5. Creating and maintaining a database (via Salesforce) of current and potential customers 
  6. Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services 
  7. Upselling products and services 
  8. Researching and qualifying new leads 
  9. Closing sales and achieving sales targets 

Essential Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Serve, support and increase Condux International sales through finite number of territory distribution partners.
  2. Achieving sales goals 

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements: 

  1. 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience require
  2. 1 year experience working as an inside sales representative or in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred 
  3. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred 
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM / Salesforce software preferred 
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  6. Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask 
  7. Excellent phone and cold calling skills 
  8. Exceptional customer service skills 
  9. Strong listening and sales skills 
  10. Ability to achieve targets 

Physical Demands: 

  1. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, twist, stoop, crawl, climb and bend 
  2. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time and work on a computer 
  3. Ability to talk on a phone for long periods of time 
  4. Must be able to lift up 15 pounds at times 

Mental Demands: 

  1. Be able to solve problems and issues effectively 
  2. Organizational skills and attention to detail 
  3. Ability to handle pressures and meet deadlines 
  4. Superior time management and organizational skills 

Working Conditions:  

  1. Adheres to the time and attendance requirements as established by the Inside Sales Manager 
  2. Conditions will vary from office to production environments
  3. Overtime as required and/or needed
