Technical Business Analyst

About the Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will perform technical-based activities related to existing and new processes. You will investigate Root Cause Analysis, determine, and implement solutions to address key causes. You will answer questions and communicate processes with other teams and assist with reporting and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities

• Serving as liaison between the Client Administration and Technical teams.
• Analyzing and creating business requirements and defining technical solutions.
• Providing delivery oversite to a small project team of technical analysts across client specific projects.
• Analyzing vendor file requirements and assists in resolving participant escalations
• Providing business and technical direction for producing the Payroll Deduction files
• Updating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), including the Plans & Populations BRD
• Providing advice and acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on technical aspects of system development and integration.

Requirements

• Have Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 5 years’ experience in Health & Welfare business and technical area.
• Be able to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Have excellent documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have experience in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Have planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Have an understanding of the company, processes, and customers.
