You'll play an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the company's technology strategy and processes. You will partner with internal technology groups to ensure that proposed technical solutions align with the company's overall objectives. You'll also serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, internal innovation teams, and IT functional areas by helping them identify and take advantage of new digital opportunities while providing guidance and ensuring solutions align with the business and IT strategy. 

We need someone who can:

• Lead cross-functional project teams through design and implementation of highly available multi-tier Windows, Linux, or cloud applications
• Collaborate across business and technical disciplines to develop Infrastructure / System Engineering Designs for internally or cloud hosted solutions
• Implement solutions by writing automation processes to deploy systems, applications, containers, or surrounding technologies.
• Be the primary infrastructure interface for business unit and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for project assignments
• Document the technical design for Project and Operations teams as part of project deliverables
• Provide script/automation development for repeatable processes
• Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism and the ability to work with complex designs and situation
• Collaborate remotely
• Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail

Basic Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent working experience
• Domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, SSO, Containers and Infra as a code technologies), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required.

Preferred Qualifications For Consideration:

• Experience with large enterprise projects
• Experience utilizing a consultative approach while interacting with customers and appropriate representatives to analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, and manage the requirements.
• Current enterprise-class infrastructure and system engineering experience with Windows/SQL and cloud-based platforms.
• Experience in automation or script development. PowerShell preferred.
• Experience with automated systems builds and configuration management tools including VRO, Terraform, SCCM, SCO, etc.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and components.
• Experience designing and implementing High Availability, Active/Active, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Experience working on a matrix team consisting of a variety of infrastructure engineers, development teams, and client relationship teams.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Ability to produce high quality operational documentation, including Visio diagrams, high-level descriptions of the environment, as well as detailed instructions outlining the steps required to repeat the build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code deployments, CI/CD, etc

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. For Colorado considerations only the estimated salary range is $96,250 - $125,000.
