As a Java Developer, you'll play an integral role in supporting our client, a state agency that ensures monetary and health insurance support for children. You will partner with internal technology groups to devise technical solutions that align with the client’s overall objectives. You'll also serve as an innovation agent, identifying and recommending digital opportunities to modernize and improve our client’s system while ensuring that solutions align with their objectives and overarching mission. You’ll enjoy meaningful work, knowing that your contributions lead to a bigger picture.

We need someone who can

• Work collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high quality delivery enterprise applications
• Plan and estimate development work needed to implement assigned tasks
• Transform complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions
• Perform detailed application design as appropriate
• Provide leadership to other team members to deliver high quality systems on schedule
• Ability to coordinate and work production issues via a Queue
• Ability to work with Production Support teams to ensure questions and answers are clear and concise
• Demonstrate experience in HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and Java Script
• Demonstrate experienced in Angular, HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with writing queries for database
• Good interpersonal skills in order to interface successfully with an onshore project manager, clients and office personnel
• Creative problem solving skills

Basic Qualifications For consideration:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience with Java and experience with database driven, multi-tier software development
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using at least one major database such as Oracle
• Experience with any of the following: Java/J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, JSTL, Struts, Java Beans, J2EE Patterns, Spring Boot, Jasper Reports, Bamboo, Dockers
