Purpose:

The Data Entry/Transaction Processor performs quality assurance on all payment documents, verification of encoding and endorsement, checks signature, date and payee information, and reconciles payments.

Scope:

The work undertaken by the role holder is completed in line with the Service Level Agreement and Statement of Work relevant for the customer.

• Entry-to-Intermediate Level position with some experience in data entry, and/or ten-key calculator with minimal error ratio.
• Knowledge of the use of PC’s and related software.
• Completes work with limited supervision.
• Performs daily job functions by following clearly, defined Standard Operating Procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performs quality assurance on all payment documents through ten keying; verification of encoding and endorsement, check signature, date and payee information.

• Research and balancing on custom software.
• Attempts to contact employers or obligor remitters to resolve any out of balance discrepancies or errors found while processing their transaction.
• Must be proficient in all areas of reconciliation and data entry.
• Observes professional standards of conduct, including attendance, professional behavior and dress code.
