Concrete Strategies is Hiring a Construction Administrator Near Johnston, IA

Provides project document coordination and recording throughout the Construction and Closeout process. Keep in contact with the General Contractor, project management, peer reviewers, subcontractors, and suppliers to determine document flow and responsibility to maintain CSI procedural standards while customizing and improving on these standards as required by each project.
 
Point Person for construction documents including drawings, sketches, specs, contracts and change orders, etc. Logging these documents into PM Web and distributing to the Project Team Members.
 
Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Type, assemble, organize, file, distribute, etc., Project Meeting Minutes, Submittal Packages, Drawings, Specs, RFIs, Contracts, Change Orders, Purchase Orders, etc. 
• Create and maintain Distribution Lists in PM Web.
• Enter new companies and update company information in PM Web as necessary.
• Assist in format and content of project specific reports as requested.
• Follow up with General Contractors, Designers, Subcontractors and Suppliers for submittals, executed contracts and change orders, etc.
• Assemble and submit the closeout documents to the owner and to archive.
• Maintain organized and detailed project record electronic filing of documents and email correspondence.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Desired Skills and Experience 
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus 
• At least 1-2 years of office administration experience.
• Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, typing) – required.
• Ability to remain flexible as every project presents with unique challenges.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and reading skills along with excellent organizational abilities.
• Accounting background - preferred, but not required
• Experience in Construction – preferred, but not required
