The Catalyst Team is seeking a Data Engineer to join our full-time team as full-time employee.
Responsibilities
- Implementing a Data catalog product- they will be working across the platform with unstructured data to integrate them with the data catalog.
- Creation and implementation of conceptual and physical data structures, applying best practice design principles for modeling relational, dimensional, data storage.
- Creation and implementation of data pipeline architecture, data flow diagrams, source to target mappings, and solution designs applying best practices for populating data structures.
- Providing expert technical advice and guidance to project team members, client stakeholders, and our staff.
- Contributing positively to our team culture and the practice.
- 10 years of experience on Data Engineering
- Experience with writing complex SQL/PLSQL code
- Experience with writing Oracle SQLLDR load scripts
- Experience with tuning SQL/PLSQL and SQLLDR load scripts
- Experience with building complex pipelines
- Experience with Linux and Shell Scripts
- Experience with change management/release management
- Experience on DB2 Teradata and VSAM files
- Experience on database administration is plus
- Experience on huge data cutovers projects is plus
