POSITION DESCRIPTION:  

The Manager provides assistance to Shareholders, including reviewing and training, develops strategies, provides coaching and keeps the shareholders updated on team performance. The Manager assists Shareholders in managing and strengthening client relationships.

· Communicate with clients and manage client relationship in coordination with Shareholder.

· Monitor realization.

· Establish a work plan with the client team to maximize efficiencies and value for the client.

· Coordinate work on all compliance engagements for the clients managed.

· Coordinate consulting and other project work.

· Provide input into department’s goal setting process.

· Maintain strong relationships with client principal and personnel, including recognizing needs for additional services in coordination with Shareholder.

· Develop overall business acumen in order to assist clients in improving operational performance and profitability.

· Understand accounting industry changes and anticipate and develop plans to meet needs of existing and potential clients.

· Maintains and supports firm objectives when leading others.

· Develops the technical, management and supervisory skills of the team, leads by example, and serves as role model.

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and CPA required; MACC, MT, or MBA highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of 8 years related public accounting experience required. Experience working with family owned, closely-held businesses, their owners and high net worth individual clients. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; tax knowledge and experience required; adheres to and respects deadlines; attention to detail; excellent communication skills--verbal and written; strong organization skills; ability to solve problems with peers and subordinates and work together with others for the common good of the firm.

Must be working within the United States. Fully remote manager considered, but preference will be given to local candidates who can work a hybrid environment with some days in our St. Petersburg, Florida, office.
