The Senior Network Engineer role represents many years of experience with networks, network security, and the associated systems and technologies. The Senior Network Engineer serves as an escalation point for other members of the Network Services team, including other Network Engineers as well as the Network Operations team. The Senior Network Engineer will largely focus on the successful implementation of new solutions and the enhancement of existing solutions.

Location: United States.

• Manage existing network infrastructure to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability;
• Design and implement networks, solutions, and integrations per the approved/standard design;
• Coordinate with the Network Architecture team in the design phase of new or non-standard networks, solutions, and integrations;
• Act as a third-level support for Network Operations and NOC teams;
• Troubleshoot connectivity problems independently by investigating underlying problems;
• Provides cost/benefit analysis on moderately to highly complex projects;
• Participates in evaluation of vendor proposals;
• Conducts network studies and performance analyses and recommends changes;
• May function in a lead capacity within department and represent department in workflow, escalation discussions with others;
• Leads implementation and deployment efforts on intermediate projects.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and experience 5 years of experience in network planning, designing, and support for a mid- or large-sized corporation;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills;
• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and with minimal supervision;
• Solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Strong ability to review and understand, as well as create and maintain network diagrams within Microsoft Visio;
• Experience in managing Cisco routers, switches, ASAs, and wireless controllers;
• Experience implementing Checkpoint firewalls;
• Advance knowledge of best practices for a Cisco Wireless environment;
• Experience with Cisco Prime & ISE;
• Experience with Tufin SecureTrack application is desirable.
