Carpenter - Experienced

Collins Construction Company, Inc. is a General Contractor looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The candidate should be an ambitious, dedicated and efficient individual looking for long-term employment. An experienced Carpenter will use their skilled trade to assist the project Team in a productive work day. Carpenters are a versatile occupation in the construction industry, with workers usually doing many different tasks. Carpenters work with a variety of materials in every kind of structure and are responsible for bringing blueprints to life.

Carpenter Responsibilities include:

• Site set-up & breakdown including site protection & safety equipment.
• Skilled in laying out, measuring, cutting, erecting, and joining materials together.
• Bring equipment, tools and materials to and from storage and/or vehicles to the
  workspace.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform proficiently at all carpentry tasks assigned.
• Understand assembling complex systems such as acoustical ceilings, metal framing,
  wall partitions, and office furniture.
• Work sites are typically occupied commercial and public buildings, so an adeptness
  in minimizing disruptions to client operations.
• Attention to detail. The understanding of when to carefully protect furnishings and
  adjust schedules to ensure tenants are not inconvenienced.
• Solve mid-project challenges, and perform accurate work eliminating lengthy punch
  lists.

Carpenter Qualifications and Skills:

• 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience
• Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle/transportation
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• Ability to meet physical requirements
