About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Building/Stationary Engineer at our facility in Culpeper, VA. This is a second shift position M-F, 4 pm to Midnight. A DC Third Class license is required. 

In this role, you must be experienced in preventative maintenance while also being able to troubleshoot and repair building systems as needed. We have 4 diesel-powered boilers on site, a multitude of VAVs, standard fire life and safety systems, 4 chillers, AHU's, fire pump, generator, ATS, BAS and Fire Alarm operations.

You Should Have

So as much as we would love to hear from everyone, there are some specific things we are looking for in your profile. You might have:

• 7 of the last 10 years in a relevant field
• Active DC 3rd Class Engineer license
• Must pass US Capitol Police background check
• Lab or critical site experience a plus
• Operating/adjusting building HVAC systems for efficiency and comfort
• Maintaining/troubleshooting/repairing the following systems/equipment
• Chillers/chilled water systems
• Building HVAC equipment
• Boilers and hot water heating systems
• Domestic water and plumbing systems
• Electrical systems including lighting, motors, starters, contactors, etc.
