A skilled nursing facility in West Babylon (Long Island) is currently seeking an exceptional licensed nurse for the Nurse Manager position.
Compensation and Benefits for the Registered Nurse Manager
- Competitive salary starting at $38/hr, DOE

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Manager
- Valid RN license
- BLS
- Responsible and compassionate
- Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
. Must be a competent leader with a strong assessment and managerial skills
- Excellent communication abilities and critical thinking is a must
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Manager
- Ensures that patient care is provided according to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
- Responsible for staffing a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care, assuring the qualifications and competence of those staff members meet the needs of patient care services.
- Oversees orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in their department.
- Provide input regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed.
- Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment.
- Mentor the Associate Nurse Manager, charge nurses and clinical nurses.
